Preschool-2nd Grade Art~ Week 3

This week in art, the preschool through the 2nd graders created a fun mosaic turtle.

Supplies Needed

Paper bowls

Brown construction paper

Green paint

Paint brushes

Colorful tissue paper

First, everyone painted their paper bowls green. This is always fun!

Next, the students added colorful shell pieces by placing colored tissue paper onto the paint. If the paint is still wet, the tissue will stick. If the child's paint is already dry just use a little bit of glue to get the tissue paper to stick.

Glue the turtles legs, tail and head onto bottom of bowl.
